Since a young age, Cam had been interested in basketball—he reportedly started practicing it when he was only four years old. The YouTuber kept playing basketball throughout high school and went on to play in college as well.
He went to the Millennium High School in New York and later joined Midland University in Nebraska.
According to his info on the university’s athletics website, Wilder is 6’4” tall and weighs 180 pounds.

Cam Wilder didn’t become famous because of his basketball career, but rather because of his viral comedy skits on TikTok and YouTube. His TikTok account boasts 6.8 million followers, and his YouTube channel has nearly 1.8 million subscribers.

Wilder’s content mostly revolves around basketball and comedy skits—he’s managed by Long Haul Management and is a part of the Zone 6 basketball team.
The team consists of young basketball enthusiasts and content creators who do IRL challenges, funny sketches, and park takeovers for entertainment purposes.
Aside from the Zone 6 team, Cam Wilder is also a part of the Rod Wave Elite, which is an Amateur Atheltic Union (AAU) Basketball team. In fact, Wilder is the team’s founder, and RWE is currently competing in the Overtime Elite league with top high school basketball talent.
RWE is known for recruiting players spontaneously, focusing on talented players like point guard Tay Kinney and shooting guard Jasper Johnson from Kentucky.
The team is pretty active on Instagram, and Wilder is constantly uploading to his own channel about the team’s competitions and updates. He has a lot of teammates on RWE, including Lavar Johnson.
